Hi! I am Nicholas. You've probably heard of me, or at least the Joomla extensions I've been publishing for the last 20 years, most notably Akeeba Backup and Admin Tools.

I've been using Joomla! since it was called Mambo – and contributing back to it. Some of the core features you use and rely on were originally contributed to Joomla by me: Joomla! Update, passkey authentication, Multi-factor Authentication, commercial extension updates, API application authentication tokens, and more.

I enjoy creating and maintaining software which helps people and makes their lives better. It's the whole reason I chose to become a FOSS developer. I am more than happy sharing my knowledge, helping other people efficiently write software that serves people.
