This summer we will do a Google Summer of Code project about human translator feedback, used to improve translation in a specific domain. In our concrete case: we will use our 20 years of experience of Joomla translation teams to improve automatic translation of the user documentation in many languages. Our goal is to show many good translations of our user documentation at the Joomla World Conference. And we'll show you how the system was built.

I can't wait for the Joomla World Conference to happen! It will be my first, but I’m pretty sure the event will bring me inspiration, passion, knowledge and a great opportunity to meet all the JFriends I made in person, make new friends and help shape Joomla’s future. For years I have thought the global Joomla Community was not for me, but since I started working for the Joomla Community Magazine five years ago, I know better: everyone can contribute and everyone matters. I'm looking forward to meeting you there!
